Astro Pop

Astro Pop

Pyzel
Owners Rating:
A retro-fish-derived groveler from Pyzel's FunFormance range, the Astro Pop blends a pulled-in nose and tail with a small wing for a curvier, more maneuverable outline. A deep double concave running to vee off the tail planes the board on top of weak, slow waves while still tipping rail-to-rail at speed, and a flatter entry rocker makes it paddle easily. Ridden short and wide with a touch more volume than a standard shortboard, it suits all levels in 1-6ft summer surf and is recommended as a quad for speed but ships as a 5-fin for versatility.
