Under Your Feet
When it's pumping
- Holds better in punchy surf than the outline makes it look, but don't get too excited.
- The extra foam up front means it wants a slightly wider line than a shortboard, so you're drawing arcs rather than snapping into them.
- Head high is the ceiling, past that you'll feel the volume start to work against you.
When it's fair
- This is where it earns its name. Knee to waist high, you're catching waves everyone else is watching go by.
- The single to double concave and the low rocker carry you straight through dead sections without a pump.
- Small and gutless doesn't mean flat and boring on this thing, step back and it still turns on a dime.
