Under Your Feet
Loose and skatey in the way quads usually are, but with the vee out the back stopping it short of feeling unhinged. It builds speed almost passively, so you spend the wave choosing what to do rather than working for the chance to do it. The rolled deck and refined rails keep the wide plane shape from feeling like a plank.
When it's pumping
- The quad grips harder than the width suggests it should.
- Draws a slightly wider arc than a thruster.
When it's fair
- The low rocker and surface area keep it moving through mushy sections.
- Stand on the tail and it pivots, which on a gutless day is the whole game.
