RNF Twinzer+ '96er

RNF Twinzer+ '96er

LOST
Owners Rating:
The RNF Twinzer+ '96er takes Lost's best-selling RNF '96 fish outline and adds a Twinzer canard fin cluster plus a fifth mini rear box for a trailer. The canards clean up flow into the main fins, so it keeps a twin's speed and glide while cutting spin-out and adding drive and hold. A deepened double concave through the tail and slightly wider nose and tail hips support the extra fins, and the setup can be run as a pure twin in tiny surf or as Twinzer+ with the mini-trailer when it gets bigger and more critical. Offered in Stock and XL scales, it suits all levels across roughly 1–6ft beach and point surf.

Under Your Feet

All the loose, skatey glide of a twin, without the small voice in your head wondering when the tail's going to let go. The canards give it a grip that arrives quietly, you notice it by what doesn't happen. Free feeling, but with a floor under it.

When it's pumping

  • Add the mini-trailer and it holds a rail through turns most twins would let go of.
  • It's still a fish underneath, so in genuinely heavy, critical surf you're asking a friendly outline to do serious work.

When it's fair

  • Pull the trailer, run it as a pure twin, and the '96 does what it's always done, planes early and glides through dead sections.
  • The canards keep the drive on tap even when there's nothing pushing you.
  • Fast enough that weak days stop feeling like a compromise.
