Under Your Feet
Locked in and trustworthy underfoot, the kind of board that rewards commitment rather than hesitation. Now we know why EE crowned this board the 2026 SITD winner: the round tail holds its line through a turn so you can lean hard and trust it won't slide out from under you, and the rockerline gives you drive right when you ask for it. It feels lively but never twitchy, more like a board that wants you to surf properly than one that flatters a lazy session.
When it's pumping
- This is exactly where it wants to be, holding a high line through powerful sections and drawing clean, committed arcs without bleeding speed.
- The round tail lets you push through critical turns without loosing any drive, as you could see Ethan doing wave after wave.
When it's fair
- On small, gutless days it asks more of you than it gives back, since the performance rockerline needs some wave face to come alive.
- Fine to paddle around on, but you'll feel it wanting real waves.
- For waist-high mush you'd be happier on something with more volume and a flatter rocker.

Haydenshapes
Haydenshapes is an Australian performance surfboard brand founded by Hayden Cox in 1997, when he was just 15 years old after snapping his favorite board and being unable to afford a replacement. The brand's most iconic model is the Hypto Krypto (arguably the world's best selling surfboard board model of all time), and it's best known for FutureFlex — a patented parabolic carbon fibre frame construction that reimagines the traditional wooden stringer surfboard. Cox is also recognized for innovative use of custom materials and modern construction methods, with FutureFlex now sold in over 70 countries.
