A.I. Exacta Pro

A.I. Exacta Pro

LOST
Owners Rating:
The A.I. Exacta Pro is a high-performance shortboard recreated by scan from a 1996/97 Andy Irons Mayhem, with a needle nose, pronounced flip-tip entry rocker, a distinct hip and a pulled-in squash tail. Single concave running to double through the fins with a hint of vee off the tail, paired with modest, smooth rocker through the center, lets it hold a line and carry speed in waves with real push. Narrower, thinner and lower in volume than a modern shortboard, it's recommended around 2" longer than your usual performance board. Best in powerful, quality surf from roughly 3–8ft, and squarely an advanced surfer's board.

Under Your Feet

From Andy's quiver straight to your hands, this board has more nose rocker than you'll ever see in a modern shortboard. If you've been missing the good old thin, narrow, and pointy blades from the early 2000s, this is the board for you.

When it's pumping

  • The aggressive entry rocker fits into the pocket like a glove and lets you go as vertical as you want.
  • The drive and control this board delivers are out of this world.

When it's fair

  • Even though Lost claims they refined the dimensions to make the board a little more approachable, this is definitely not a small-wave board.
  • If you still want to ride an AI-inspired board in smaller waves, why not the RNF 96 ?
