The Darkside is Haydenshapes' most highly tuned performance shortboard, built for maximum speed, drive and responsiveness in quality waves from 3-12ft faces. A fast, flowing continuous rockerline creates instant acceleration and effortless projection, while a round-square tail adds release and control through powerful turns. A slight single concave running into an extended double through the tail works with the rocker for strong drive off the bottom and quick release through the lip. It made the favourite four at Stab in the Dark 2016 under Dane Reynolds. A lively, exciting high-performance board for intermediate-to-advanced surfers.
