Owners Rating:
The Shadow is a refined high-performance shortboard, a more performance-oriented redesign of the Phantom that keeps that board's flow and glide. A center wide-point and forward-set thickness flow with added foam under the chest boost paddle power, stability, and easy speed in weaker waves, while a pulled-in nose with extra nose rocker frees it up through critical turns. A gentle hip and slightly pulled-in squash tail tighten the turning radius for vertical surfing, and the single-with-double-to-vee bottom drives speed across beach breaks, points, reefs, and slabs from 3-8ft, lifting intermediates and bringing out the best in advanced surfers.
